Music for the International Museum Day

On May 18 the world celebrated museums and, as any other celebration, it is always better with music.

Madrid will enjoy both music and museums thanks to the Museo Reina Sofía which, along with Radio 3 and SGAE has organized 15 hours of music around the city.

Starting at 7 a.m., up to 50 performances will be taking place at the patio of the Nouvel building. Some of the artist and bands performing are Nacho Vegas, Luz Casal, Los Planetas, Coque Malla or Izal (who seem to still be invited despite the recent abuse accusations to some of its members). From 8 p.m. until midnight, the female Radio 3 DJs will take the garden at the Sabatini building.

Access to the performances, as well as the museums, will be free. Those who cannot attend will still be able to enjoy this via de radio station as well as the livestream on the website.
