The Third Grade nació en 2009 como un proyecto en acústico de la mano del vocalista y guitarrista Jose Masiá, pero tras varios meses de composición el grupo terminó convirtiéndose en una formación de metal.

'The Third Grade' fue el primer trabajo publicado por la banda, en febrero de 2012. Después de un tiempo con la formación estable, algunas actuaciones, y la grabación del single 'Holes', se unieron a la formación Daniel Castillo como bajista y Laura Millán a las voces.

Este cambio en la formación trajo consigo la publicación del segundo trabajo de la banda, 'The Garden of the Whispers', un EP de 5 canciones que mostraba no solo la evolución musical del grupo, sino la consolidación de un estilo personal.

Tras la inesperada marcha del batería histórico de la formación, en noviembre de 2013 llegó Rafa Sáez, actual batería de la banda.

En septiembre de 2014 vio la luz un nuevo single, Breathe Away, disponible en las principales plataformas digitales. Esta nueva canción supone un despliegue de metal contundente, pero a su vez melódico, donde las voces juegan un gran papel, dotando a la canción de esa aura épica que la hace especial.

A finales de este año el grupo presentará su nuevo trabajo en acústico: ORION...

The Third Grade was born in 2009 as an acoustic project leaded by the vocalist and guitarist Jose Masiá, but after some months composing, the band ended up as a metal band itself. 

'The Third Grade', their first LP arrived on the early 2012. Time went by as the band started to play at some venues and also working on new songs when they recorded the single ‘Holes’. Short after that, Daniel Castillo as bassist and Laura Millán as singer joined the band.

On 2013, The Third Grade published their second job, an EP called ‘The Garden of the Whispers’; with these new five songs the band not only proved their natural evolution as a band, but also a matter of personal style as a band.

After the historic drummer of the band left unexpectedly, in November 2013 Rafa Sáez joined the band. 

After the summer, in September 2014, ‘Breathe Away’, a new single, saw the light. This song means a display of powerful metal, but melodic at the same time, where Jose and Laura’s voices play an important role, giving the song that epic aura that makes it special. 

Before 2014 comes to an end, The Third Grade will introduce to the world their new acoustic EP: ‘Orion’
